
Taco Layer Dip Recipe
This taco layer dip recipe is packed with flavor. With ingredients that include: lean ground beef, green chilies, cream cheese, cheddar cheese and sour cream, this is sure to be a hit with your guests.
- 1 ea. Taco seasoning packet
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 2 ea. 10 oz. cans of SEG diced tomatoes with peppers, drained
- 2 ea. 10 oz. cans of kidney beans, drained
- ½ cup. SEG Cream cheese
- 2 oz can SEG chopped green chilies
- 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 oz. SEG Taco Sauce
- 6 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1 ea. red onion, diced fine
- 1 head Iceberg lettuce, chopped fine
- 2 ea. diced vine ripe tomatoes
- 2 oz. SEG sliced black olives
- 2 oz. SEG sliced jalapenos
- ½ cup. SEG medium salsa dip
- 3-4 bags tortilla chips for dipping
- Heat pan over medium-high heat and add ground beef.
- Cook until browned, then drain the fat.
- Add the taco seasoning, cream cheese, Rotel tomatoes and kidney beans.
- Cook on low for about 10-15 minutes.
- To assemble: Place the ground beef taco mix about half way up into a glass Pyrex dish, use two if necessary.
- Place half of the shredded cheese over the ground beef to cover.
- Layer the iceberg lettuce, chopped tomato, taco sauce and diced onion over the cheese.
- Place dollops of sour cream and salsa for the next layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top. Serve with tortilla chips on the side.
