Salted Caramel Apple Pie

  • 2 ea. SEG Pie Crust, dough
  • 2 cans of 21 oz. Apple Pie Filling
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 oz. Caramel Topping
  • 1 tsp. Coarse Sea Salt.
  • 1 oz. Egg wash
  • 1 oz. Granulated Sugar
  • Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the apple filling, caramel topping, cinnamon and sea salt.
  • Place first layer of pie dough down into a pie pan.
  • Brush lightly with egg wash.
  • Lay down the apple pie filling and press evenly.
  • Lay the second layer of pie dough over the over the pie filling.
  • Brush egg wash over the edges and seal the crust all the way around using your fingers or by pressing with a fork.
  • Brush the entire top with egg wash then sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  • Cut a small X in the middle of the pie to vent.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or internal temperature reaches 165.
