Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Whether you're a diehard fan or just there for the food and commercials, this game day recipe scores big time. You'll be left bacon for more!

  • 12 ea. Colossal Shrimp (8-10 per lb.)
  • 12 ea. Slices, Thick-cut Bacon
  • 8 oz. Barbeque Sauce
  • 12 ea. Toothpicks
  • 1 qt. Canola Oil for frying
  • Drain and dry shrimp well.
  • Wrap one slice of bacon tightly around each shrimp, overlapping tightly; secure with a toothpick.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Add oil to a large saucepot and heat it to 325 degrees.
  • Fry shrimp in the oil for about 6 minutes, or until bacon is golden-brown and crispy.
  • Remove shrimp from oil with tongs; remove toothpicks and drain. Then, holding shrimp by tail, dip it into barbeque sauce.
  • Place shrimp on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
