The Winn-Dixie Company Gives Foundation is the charitable arm of The Winn-Dixie Company, dedicated to supporting our neighbors across Florida and southern Georgia. Rooted in our purpose to feed and enrich the communities we proudly serve, the Foundation focuses on helping families facing hunger and supporting recovery efforts when disasters strike.
In 2025, we proudly upheld that commitment by donating more than $2.8 million to support causes that matter most to our neighbors, including hunger relief, disaster recovery and more.
Through donations, volunteer efforts and long-standing partnerships with trusted organizations, we help ensure families have access to nourishing food and meaningful support during times of need. From everyday challenges to unexpected hardships, we’re committed to strengthening our communities — one meal and one recovery at a time.

Fighting Hunger
As a neighborhood grocer, we believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food. Many of the communities we serve face food insecurity and helping address that need is at the heart of what we do.
Through The Winn-Dixie Company Gives Foundation, we partner with Feeding America®, local Feeding America partner food banks and other dedicated hunger-relief organizations to provide monetary support, product donations and hands-on volunteer assistance. Together, we’re working to ensure families have reliable access to nourishing meals — because no neighbor should ever have to wonder where their next meal will come from.

Community Bag Program
Making a difference can be as simple as your grocery run. Through our Community Bag Program, customers can help feed their local community while also reducing waste — bringing home more good with every purchase.
Now through Dec. 31, 2026, Winn-Dixie will donate $1* to Feeding America® for every $2.99 reusable bag purchased. Made from recycled materials, these specially designed bags are available in all Winn-Dixie grocery stores and help support hunger-relief efforts that matter most to our neighbors.
*$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local partner food banks.
Disaster Relief
With a century of serving coastal communities, we understand how devastating hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters can be for families and neighborhoods. When disaster strikes, The Winn-Dixie Company Gives Foundation is there to help communities prepare, respond and recover.
By partnering with the American Red Cross and local disaster-relief organizations, we support efforts, including mobile pantry activations and coordinated donation programs, that deliver critical resources when they’re needed most. Rain or shine, we’re proud to stand by our neighbors — helping families rebuild, regain stability and strengthen the resilience of the communities we call home.
